Quality Engineer

In our Quality Engineering team in Zwolle, we are searching for a new Quality Engineer that is interested to join our team, looking for a position in an international company.
As Quality Engineer you work closely together with the R&D team and our production locations in Europe, for ensuring a smooth introduction of new products and for maintaining the product consistency of existing products manufactured in Europe. Next to that you will support the production locations to optimize their production processes.
In this position you will have regular contacts with different stakeholders within the company to facilitate product introductions and transfers. You will work in an international environment and report directly to the Head of Quality Engineering.
Position
- Monitor product quality to ensure continuous product consistency.
- Lead the introduction of new products to the sites.
- Lead product transfers between the different AOC sites in Europe.
- Support the AOC production sites in view of optimization of assets, operational issues and quality.
- Agree on changes to formulations and specifications.
We Look For
- A Chemical Engineer or Chemist with experience in batch processes
- At least 2 years work experience in a relevant field
- Knowledge of polyester and vinyl ester technology is a pre
- Analytical skills
- Very good interpersonal and communication skills and “can do“ mentality
- Pro-active attitude
- Accurate way of working
- You are fluent in English and preferably Dutch.
- Experience working within a multi-cultural environment
- Willingness to travel when needed
