Atlac® 5200 FCVinyl ester resin for Food Contact applications
Components based on Atlac® 5200 FC feature high mechanical strength and exhibit excellent resistance to chemicals and heat.
The resin is particularly suited for Food Contact and Drinking Water applications (conforms to EU10/2011).
Atlac® 5200 FC can be used in all fabrication methods, but is especially adapted to meet the requirements of filament winding, centrifugal casting, hand lay-up and spray-up applications.
Atlac® 5200 FC provides resistance to a wide range of acids, alkali, and bleaches for the use in corrosive environments in the food processing industry. The favorable combination of thermal resistance and elongation makes this resin suitable for applications exposed to intermittent temperatures.
Atlac® 5200 FC resin is particularly suited for Food Contact and Drinking Water applications (resin composition conforms to EU10/2011).
Specific details regarding compliance to food contact regulations is provided in the Regulatory Datasheet for this product, available from your AOC Technical Service representative on request.
