Unsaturated Polyester resin for Putties requiring adhesion to galvanized steel
Putties and surface fillers are used for repair of steel, concrete, stone, wood and composites. These products consist of resins, mixed together with fillers, pigments, and additives. After application and cure, putties typically require sanding and are covered with primer and subsequent coating layers. Critical application properties include an excellent adhesion to the substrate, easy application on vertical surfaces (requiring thixotropic properties), fast tack-free time, great sand-ability and good adhesion to primers.
AOC provides a broad range of Amine pre-accelerated resins for a variety of substrate types sold under Synolite™ and Palatal® brands. , with a different balance of rigidity and flexibility. The range contains DCPD resins as well as products with enhanced chemical resistance for application that require extra durability. The AOC resins have a track record of performance and great quality consistency, being used already for many years in putty formulations across the globe. In order to avoid staining premium putty resins do not contain monomeric Amine.
