Synolite™ 8085-X-2 is a multi-purpose unsaturated polyester resin based on Orthophthalic acid used in continuous lamination processes.
Synolite™ 8085-X-2 contains an UV stabilizer, and therefore can resist weathering during outdoor exposure.
Major applications
Synolite™ 8085-X-2 features good light stability and weathering resistance and is primarily intended for the production of glass-fiber reinforced flat and corrugated sheets.
Translucent sheets made from Synolite™ 8085-X-2 reinforced with E-glass fibers show light diffusion.
Certifications and Approvals
Cured unreinforced Synolite™ 8085-X-2 conforms to type 1120 according to DIN 16 946/2 and is classified in group 0 according to DIN 18 820/1.
