Daron – combines the best from Epoxies and Polyesters in one solution
In comparison to epoxies, it is relatively easy to design composite parts with Daron resins. Daron resins are compatible both with glass and carbon fibers. This allows users to design parts with high stiffness, strength and ductility, which is similar to parts made from epoxies. At the same time, the heat resistance of the Daron resins is often much better than the heat resistance of comparable epoxies. Also, while epoxies can provide strength, stiffness and fatigue resistance, the conversion of epoxies is often complicated and sensitive to process variations. Daron resins can be easily processed into composite components through robust manufacturing processes.
